Renew us in Weeping: Set our Hearts on Fire

As we are sometimes overwhelmed by the chaos around us, Holy Spirit reminds us to set our hearts and mind on things above to seek your wisdom.

By your Spirit renew in us weeping: those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.  Though one goes along weeping carrying the bag of seed, he will surely come back with shouts of joy, carrying his sheaves.

May we continue to weep for those that need an intervention of God the Father, to sow righteousness for the sake of the kingdom  Give us wisdom when to pursue or to discern, when to be still and listen to you. Help us to trust in your timing.

You have given us authority to bring (mercy, justice) to earth as it is in heaven. To comfort those that mourn and to bring hope to those in need and set the captives free.  Set our hearts on fire; let us be aware and prepared to keep the oil lamp full for the awakening of your Spirit.

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us. Help us to rise into our destiny and in the gifts of our calling. You have declared over us a future and a hope with songs of deliverance. Touch us with the tangible presence of the Spirit so we will not be held back by the world’s understanding.

Lead us to the secret place to be with you for in you alone we find our strength. We find that you are more than enough. Our hands are lifted up in praise, when we hear your voice, everything changes. We bow in adoration for all that you are and all that you do for your beloved.
