Kiss the Bride: Three Summer Love Stories (A Year of Weddings Novella) by Melissa Mc Clone , Robin Lee Hatcher, Kathryn Springer

Kiss The Bride is a book of 3 short summer love stories; three individual stories written by three different authors. The three stories are about the various people that help make weddings memorable: the wedding planners, the dance instructors, and the photographers.

Picture Perfect Love by Melissa Mc Clone

Jenna Harrison had her heart broken when her fiancé, Ashton Vance left her at the altar. She’s still struggling to get over him- and the financial damage he left her with. One day he shows up in her wedding photography shop to hire her for his sister’s wedding.

Jenna has no desire to be around the Vance family again, but the prospect of paying off her debts, truly forgiving Ash, and moving on with her life has her taking the job. The two realize that they aren’t really over each other. But they aren’t sure that they can build a relationship that works.

Picture Perfect Love was a sweet romance. I liked the characters and the theme of forgiveness

I Hope You Dance by Robin Lee Hatcher

Grant Nichols is in town for his friend’s wedding and he has to learn to dance. Skye Foster, the dance instructor, is teaching all of the wedding guests. Grant and Skye instantly hit it off; it seems that they are the perfect match for each other. What happens when they find out that their dreams are not in sync with each other?
Although they aren’t very much alike, they find themselves drifting toward each other. But there are things they need to work out before they can have a relationship.

I Hope You Dance another sweet story of love at first sight

Love On A Deadline by Kathryn Springer

This story was about Mackenzie Davis, the daughter of the high school football coach. Dreams of being a famous journalist. Mackenzie has returned to her hometown to take care of her father after he had a heart attack. Working for the local newspaper, Mac is hoping to cover more important stories than what she has so far been given.  A promised interview with a senator, leads her to write a story on a wedding on the local “money” family. Wouldn’t you know it, the boy she had a crush on is having to plan the wedding for his sister.

Love On a Deadline well developed and interesting plot.

There isn’t any deep thoughtful story here. It’s a novella. Kiss the Bride is a sweet, easy-to-read love story. It is Christian fiction, and the characters experience spiritual lessons and growth throughout the story.

Kiss The Bride was an enjoyable read with 3 sweet stories that kept me entertained and satisfied my happily ever after sweet tooth. This would be a great by the beach read for the summer.

I received a copy of the book from HarperCollins Christian Publishing BookLook Bloggers program for my review.
