When Messiah was ministering to a multitude of thousands, a crisis arose. The people were hungry and had virtually no food, only two fish and five loaves of bread. He took the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven. He gave thanks, broke them and gave them to the disciples to give to the multitudes.
How did he do this?
He looked to heaven and gave thanks…
Giving thanks is the key to miracles. This means that you have the power to perform the miracle of multiplication by doing what he did. Do not look at how little you have or how impossible the situation is, take the little you have, no matter how small or inadequate and do what Messiah did. Lift it up to the Lord and give thanks for it and the blessings you have will multiply in your heart and the world.
So in order to perform miracles, you need to give thanks. Stop living in the realm of “not enough” practice giving thanks for everything. Perform the act of multiplication.
The Power of Giving Thanks
Author’s Note: this is a review of a devotional listing from “The Book of Mysteries” by Jonathan Cahn. It is sometimes hard to give an overall review of devotional books that I decided to take a day or two and have some fun with it. I hope that the information would interest you enough to buy the book and to enjoy the devotionals daily.
