Whispers from the Father's Heart/Encouraging Words

Run With Me

Happy Monday, Have a great week seeking after God

I had an unsettling dream the other night – I won’t go into details, In my study of dreams, I learned just because a dream is scary or strange, it doesn’t have to be bad, you can still learn what God may be telling you. There are other reasons a dream can be scary, but that story is for another time. The last part of the dream before waking, I was in a panic, “who do I call? What do I do?” I was saying this over and over. I also had a headache.  When I awoke, I was quoting scripture “God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind”. I was wondering what in the world does this mean?

I didn’t know what to think – could it be possible: I am not “deep enough”, “obedient enough”? Most of my life I’ve been told that I am not good enough, I’ve been told I’m not smart enough, I am not pretty enough. I have been told to be ashamed, and that I will end up as dust in the road. I’ve been told many hurtful things by people who I knew and by people who didn’t know me…

Wait a minute! (that sounds like the enemy accusing, so not from God) I recognize the dream now, that God is showing me what the enemy’s strategy is against me. I meditated on the 2 Timothy scripture all day and my headache disappeared.

I waited to hear from God:

God would say to me and you, even if those things were true, remember I make beautiful things out of dust, treasured jewels for all to see.  I would gently, lovingly entreat you to come to me and rest in my presence.

Remember, I am in the habit of using the things the world views as ordinary, unlovable, unforgettable, and dusty to perform my greatest miracles and know this, daughter, there is more to come.

I have filled you with my breath, you are full of life now, full of passion, one of a kind, my masterpiece, I created you for wonderful things. No amount of untruth, no mistakes you made or will make, no amount of stumbling can separate my love for you. Take my hand, say yes to the invitation to spend time with the lover of your soul. Come away with me to the special place I created just for you.

I have made a way for you before, watch and see me do it again. The enemy wants you to doubt your true identity, your special place in my heart, the true power and authority I give to you; to doubt your position is to be by my side and my favor on you and your family. To try and distract you from the truth.

Remember in the beginning when you first trusted me? Running through the fields with me, come run with me again. Keep your eyes fixed on me and take my hand and we will run together.

When I heard that from the Lord I started singing:
“Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim.
In the light of His glory and grace.

Yes, Lord, you are faithful to keep me …
My heart searches for you, to be in your presence
Keep my heart tender to know your Love
I surrender all to you, take me, draw me in

Have your way with me, drown me in your grace
All my hope is in Jesus, all my yesterdays are gone
Because I am washed in your saving blood, I will trust in You!
I am free, I am wild and beautiful, valuable and loved
I am passionate and courageous
I am more than enough!

Take me deeper with you, cover me with your living water
Take me to the highest place and show me what you see
I praise you, for you are good, and your love endures forever

I live by the Divine Breath of Heaven of the living God
Who fills my soul and has given me new life,
Who says that I am more than enough!
Let every breath I take Praise the Lord!

Psalm 150:3-6,  2 Timothy 1:7, 1Corinthians 1:17, Matthew 10:16, 2Timothy 1:6-8

Whispers from the Father's Heart/Encouraging Words

Behold

What are you beholding today?

If you are not doing life with God, you are doing it with the enemy…there is no in-between!  (Unknown)

How awesome are your works,   I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made in your image and you have knitted my soul marvelously; I will believe in your promises for your words are the truth. I have seen with my own eyes the great and awesome works you have done for me. It is not so much that I am on the Lord’s side but that the Almighty King of Kings is for me. If the almighty Yehovah is for me who can be against me?

We become in our heart what we behold with our mind. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! I am who He says I am – I am Beloved, I am Wild and Fearless, I am His Treasure, I am Delightful. Who does God see when he looks at you?

2 Corinthians 3:18Philippians 4:8, Proverbs 4:23, Romans 12:2, 1 John 3:1

Today is a good day to behold.  With unveiled faces, we look into a mirror, see the glory of the Lord and see we are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory and see the freedom to be what he has called us to be.

Whispers from the Father's Heart

Pleasant Places

Happy Monday Morning, I don’t know about you, but my days seem to be on fast forward. If time is passing by too quickly for you, my prayer for you and for myself is that we would take time to rest and remember His promises and to remember we have an advocate in Christ who intercedes on our behalf. To remember we love because He first loved us, and He snatched us out of the hands of the enemy for His very own treasures. To take time to Praise the Name of the Lord! And everything else will fall into place.

Matthew 6:33Jeremiah 15:21, Psalm 16:5-8, James 1:17, Psalm 23:2, Ephesians 2-6

Whispers from the Father's Heart

I AM His Treasure

Good Monday Morning all, I hope you were able to enjoy the beautiful weekend. I was blessed this weekend to be in the company of some wild women of God! We came away with knowing our identity in a deeper way. One of the many confirmations I received was a beautiful word presented on a beautiful card. I read it and cried happy tears, but the other confirmation came later when I was looking through some old writings of mine and found this one below. Some of the words God gave me when I wrote this was the same message I received this weekend. I wanted God to reveal himself to me and He did. I hope you like it.

You are my Beloved, I delight in you. You are My treasured possession I sing songs of sweet melodies over you!  I’m calling do you hear? Come and rest in the shadow of my wings, when the time is complete I will lift you up in the palm of my hand. You will soar to great heights, my pleasure overflows as you use the gifts I gave you to bring others comfort and peace as I have given you.

Dearest one, the time is coming and is now, to step forward. It is time to arise and shine, the Kingdom is at hand. I will be with you do not fear for the wounds the enemy inflicted upon you, I have turned into weapons against them. Take joy in revealing My name, you are the archer of My Word to those around you.

The time is here to take my hand as we dance on the mountain tops for My divine breath of heaven will fill your soul and will sustain you. You are everything to me, you are my princess warrior. Although you walk in grace and have a tender heart you have a mighty roar. Remember this: the daughter of a lion is also a Lion.

Inspired: Job 33:4, Zephaniah 3:17, John 15:11, Psalm 17:8, Isaiah 11:2, Romans 8:11

Whispers from the Father's Heart

Planted

This week my heart has been on the verse that says “I am like a tree planted by the streams of water” this has been one of my life verses and a few years ago I heard Father God say to me that same verse over me. All week it has been about this topic and even the sermon on Sunday was about this as well. So, I am finally writing something I hear; whispers from the Father’s heart.

I was reading about how vines react to the drought and what the vine-dresser does to maintain the vines. The vine-dresser could irrigate the vines to relieve the pressure and trauma and the wine that comes from that crop can be good. Instead, the vines are not irrigated, and the vines are forced to dig deep to find water. Did you know that this process produces the sweetest wines, one would think that ideal conditions of sun, water, soil maintenance would produce the sweetest wines?

In the midst of my challenges real and imagined I am reminded that I have surrendered to His will because I trust in Him. He gives me declarations to speak the promises he has given me. To declare that when the winds come, when the heat comes, the disappointments, the challenges, struggles and false accusations God is with me. The truth that through it all I am not alone. He gives me strategies to overcome, he comforts me when I cry, and in the process, I am strengthened, being made new in the image of Christ and becoming the sweet fragrance that is offered back in thanksgiving.

In the last few years Holy Spirit has given me a new perspective: God doesn’t react to the devil’s actions; the devil reacts to what God is doing. An example when Jesus was born, Herod set out to kill the children. the Israelite’s were crossing the Jordan when it was at flood stage a dangerous situation. This meant that just around the corner the harvest would be ready.

What a difference that could make if we learned to see with open eyes. It could be as simple as speaking up when needed, making a stand for righteousness.  We need to discern why the enemy of our soul wants to divide, kill, steal and destroy. Ask God to open your eyes to see what he is doing in your situation and in the world and focus on those things.

If you have been in a drought (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) dig deep into the Word of God and maybe in this challenge you are facing you will begin to trust and see tangible changes coming.

In the crushing
In the pressing
You are making new wine
Take my heart I surrender

 You opened my eyes
You have captured my heart
All I have comes from you

 In the crushing and pressing
Comes new freedom and power
Sweet fragrance rises to the throne

My soul must sing of your love
I Stand on the promises of God.
I wait to see your glory

I sing praises to my King
For you are good
your mercy endures forever

 There is none like you
great and mighty King
Here is my heart take it
Surrendered for you alone.

 In the crushing and pressing
Comes new freedom and power
Sweet fragrance rises to the throne

Whispers from the Father's Heart

Take Me To The Garden

Take me to your fountain of delights into the midst of the garden, where you first told me who I am in You. Take me to the garden where you surround me with the fires of your love and wrap me in your blanket of peace.

Take me to the garden where I can hear your heart whisper where I find refuge in the shadow of your wings. Take me to the garden where I can see the light and discover mysteries and gain understanding. Where I can reflect on your word, where my spirit is recharged and renewed.

Take me to the garden that I may dwell with you in love and fill me with your unexpected treasures. where you clothe me with robes of righteousness and adorn me with precious jewels. Take me to the garden where I am ready to dance to our song on the wings of heaven.

Take me to the garden so I can be strengthened and be the good news; so, write your story on my heart. Make me a woman who walks closely with you so by your power and love I am available to heal, to honor, to bring good news, to bless those who listen. Take me to the garden that blossoms with life, beauty and plenty where in your presence there is the fullness of joy.

Inspired: Psalm 36:8-9, Isaiah 58:11, Psalm 16:11
Isaiah 61:11, Song of Solomon 4:15, Psalm 63:7, Psalm 91:4
